We're very pleased to announce the release of Cloud Server Export which allows you to perform automated exports of your customized VMWare images! The OpSource Cloud now supports seamless movement of VMWare images from your private enterprise to our Cloud systems.
To perform an image export via the UI (all functions are also available via the API) you can follow the below steps.
1. Select the Servers tab on the Main Menu, select the Customer Image Window on the right and click on the "Export" link.
2. The system will bring up a dialog box where you can choose the Customer IMage you wish to Export:
3. After you choose a Customer Image, the system will display the details of the Image:
4. The system will provide a warning that the Export process should not be interrupted. During this time the OVF and associated files are created.
5. Once the export process is completed, the system will allow you to download the OVF Files, including the OVF, VMDK, MF files:
